You ordered a safety vest, it arrived, and it’s a size too big. Before you reach for a hot wash cycle hoping to shrink it down, there are a few things you need to know β€” because done wrong, shrinking a hi-vis vest can void its compliance with AS/NZS 4602.1 and leave you with a vest that’s technically unusable on an Australian worksite.
