Why This Vest Is Different
Most budget hi-vis vests on the market cut corners in two places — the reflective tape and the zip. This vest addresses both directly. The retroreflective tape is CE and ANSI certified high-brightness material, meaning it meets the minimum retroreflectance performance requirements of EN ISO 20471 under both vehicle headlight and daylight conditions. The zip has been upgraded from the cheap nylon zippers common on budget vests to a high-quality resin zipper — the component that fails first under daily industrial use on most vests in its class.
The 140GSM polyester mesh body delivers the balance most site workers actually need — light enough for comfortable all-day wear in Australian conditions, but substantial enough to hold its structure and print quality through repeated washing cycles.

Compliance
This vest meets EN ISO 20471 Class 2 — the European and internationally recognised standard for high-visibility safety clothing. EN ISO 20471 Class 2 requires a minimum background material area of 0.50 square metres and a minimum retroreflective material area of 0.13 square metres, making it suitable for medium to high-risk worksite environments.
Australian Standard Note: Australian worksites regulated under SafeWork Australia’s model WHS Regulations reference AS/NZS 4602.1 as the applicable hi-vis standard. EN ISO 20471 is the European equivalent and shares the same fundamental visibility and retroreflectance performance principles. Customisation
Every vest is available with full custom branding. Four decoration methods are available depending on your artwork complexity, quantity and budget.
Screen printing is recommended for bold single or multi-colour logos on orders of 25 or more. Crisp, durable and the most cost-effective per-unit option at volume.
DTF (Direct to Film) supports full-colour photographic-quality artwork with no colour limitations. Available on any order size including a single vest.
Heat transfer is fast and clean — ideal for names, role titles and simple logo applications on any order size.
Embroidery is the premium option for corporate workwear programs. Thread stitched directly into the mesh fabric for a long-lasting, professional result.
Print placement options include left chest, right chest, full back, lower back and shoulder. Multiple placements can be combined on a single vest. Artwork should be submitted in AI, EPS, PDF, SVG or high-resolution PNG format.
Sizing
This vest is available in XS through to 7XL. Mixed size orders within a single order are completely standard — specify your required quantity at each size when ordering. There is no minimum per size.

Measurements are of the garment laid flat. For comfortable wearing over a work shirt, add 5–8cm to your chest measurement when selecting a size.
Care Instructions
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry — hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Do not iron directly over retroreflective tape or printed decoration. Do not dry clean. Inspect retroreflective tape condition regularly — replace the vest if tape shows significant delamination, cracking or reduced reflectivity, as performance below the minimum retroreflectance standard may compromise compliance.
